AhlulBayt News Agency: Bahraini security forces have arrested Mohammad Taher Madan, a resident of the town of Al‑Nuwaidrat, after he appeared at the headquarters of the General Directorate of Criminal Investigation in response to a summons.
According to family sources, all contact with Madan was cut off immediately after he entered the interrogation center. It was later revealed that authorities had decided to detain him without providing any explanation regarding the reasons for his arrest or the charges against him.
The incident comes as part of the ongoing campaign of summonses and arbitrary detentions carried out by Bahraini security forces against citizens, particularly young people. The policy aims to impose restrictions, instill fear, and pressure activists and residents of areas involved in social and political movements.
